Check out all the events happening at the Museum this month!

We are partnering with the Utah Chinese History Museum for our April Super Saturday! The museum will be hosting an exhibit on Utah’s Chinese History through the month of April. On Saturday, April 22, at 1pm Utah Chinese History Museum Director Mary Yang will give a presentation. The museum will be open between 10am-3pm for visitors to explore the exhibit, do some fun activities, and learn more about the history of Chinese people in Utah!
Our April Back-in-Time is April Showers! Come to the museum on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday April 25, 26, or 27 to learn all about the transcontinental railroad, how water was important to steam-powered locomotives, and the people who kept the railroad running! Attendees will make something fun and get a treat. Back-in-Time activities are free open to everyone, but sign-up is encouraged.
Enter our monthly coloring contest! Bring your submission to the Museum, mail it (50 West Main, Hyrum, UT 84319), or email it museum@hyrumcity.com.
We are happy to host the Utah Chinese History Museum’s traveling exhibit from April 11 through April 27, with a special Super Saturday event on Saturday, April 22!
Pre-registration for vehicles is now open for Hot Wheels in Hyrum, our annual Car Show Fundraiser! Saturday, June 3, 2023, 10am-3pm at Hyrum City Square! The museum is honored to partner with the Utah Cold War Veterans Foundation to recognize all local veterans of the Cold War. Anyone who served at any time between 2 September 1945 and 26 December 1991 is eligible. Please contact Jami at museum@hyrumcity.com (or come into the museum) to be added to the list. A program will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Mountain Crest High School Auditorium (255 South 800 East, Hyrum).
