Hot Wheels & Hot Dogs

Hot Wheels and Hot Dogs is an exciting community event in Hyrum that is organized by the Hyrum City Museum. Families come to kick summer off by enjoying classic vehicles, having a mouthwatering hotdog, entering to win prizes, participating in Passport to Summer Fun (children’s activity), and listening to music. This is the museum’s big annual fundraiser, which raises funds to support exhibit expansion, educational programming, and our ability to serve as a community resource. Everyone is invited and we have a great turn-out!

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who has something special in their garage or shed to bring it out and show it off. Showroom quality is not necessary, dust it off and bring it down! The show is open to all vehicles: cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, whatever you think is cool! Registration will begin at 9:00 am. You may preregister by clicking here or by visiting the museum. On the day of the event, enter from the parking lot behind the Hyrum Civic Center/City Offices building, which is accessed from 100 West.

Eight beautifully engraved plaques donated by Al’s Trophies & Frames will be awarded at 3:00 pm for Best of Show, Best Survivor, Best Restoration, Best Car, Best Truck, Best Tractor, Most Unique, and People’s Choice. Certificates for the vehicle that traveled the farthest and the oldest are also given.

Enter to win any of our fantastic prizes! Like us on Facebook or visit the museum during the event for one free drawing ticket. All prize drawings will be held at 3:00 pm following the car awards.
