Del Ray Campbell Photograph Collection 1900-1967
Del Ray Campbell donated this collection of photographs, post cards, and other materials in April 2011. The bulk of the collection includes photographs of football, baseball, and basketball teams at South Cache High School and Skyview High School from 1960 to 1967. Other photographs include Del Ray Campbell’s ancestors and notable places in Hyrum like Main Street and the beanery. Also in the collection are post cards and scans of newspaper clippings Campbell collected.
Gerald Byington Photograph Collection 1900-1970
Gerald Byington donated this collection of photographs in March 2011. The photographs are all of various people taken at photo studios throughout northern Utah. The majority are family photographs featuring either siblings or newlywed couples. Also included are some photographs taken at an individual’s home.
Higher Education Pamphlet Collection 1893-1905
Museum staff formed this organic collection from higher education pamphlets they found uncatalogued in the warehouse. The pamphlets include class catalogues, reports from college presidents, bulletins, and yearbooks. These materials come from Utah area institutions such as the Business Department of LDS College, Agricultural College of Utah, University of Utah, and Brigham Young College.
Hyrum City Museum Miscellaneous Music Collection 1904-1952
Museum staff found the following items mixed in among unprocessed materials in the museum’s archives. They formed these items into one collection to contain all unprocessed music materials. The collection includes published music arrangements owned and annotated by Venita Albertson. Also in the collection are various handwritten sheets of music made by Hyrum residents, sheet music and musical booklets from LDS church publications, miscellaneous music booklets, and sheet music taken from magazine publications.
Hyrum City Museum Miscellaneous Photograph Collection, 1870-1985
This collection combines two previously separate collections of miscellaneous accessioned photographs. Included in this new collection are several matted photographs of various people and places in Hyrum from the late 19th century and early 20th century. Among these are pictures of notable Hyrum residents, sports teams, early automobiles, and several group photographs.

This collection includes Ladies’ magazines such as Woman’s Home Companion Magazine, McCall’s, Seventeen, Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, and Redbook. See our catalog for a more detailed list.
Lucile Byington Collection
This collection consists of various items Lucile Byington donated in 2008. The majority of the items are Relief Society Magazines from the 1960s. There are also some LDS Church books including a 1920 Book of Mormon, as well as a yearbook from South Cache High School and William Budge Memorial Hospital in Logan Utah.
Miscellaneous LDS Church Periodical Collection 1899-1960
This collection consists of various periodicals published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The majority of the periodicals are Relief Society Magazines from the 1950s. There are also Mutual Improvements Association handbooks, Liahona Elder’s Journals from the 1920s, and Young Women’s Magazines Latter Day Saints periodicals.
