Check out all the events happening at the museum this month!

Join us for free family movie nights at Elite Hall! Doors open at 6:30, movies begin at 7pm. Wear your comfy clothes, bring your favorite treats or dinner, and don’t forget your blankets, pillows, camp chairs, etc. This is a free public event and a great chance to watch fun movies on a big screen with a sound system on the historic spring-loaded dance floor of Elite Hall!
Join us for our January Back-in-Time Children’s Activity on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, January 9, 10, & 11 at 1pm each day. Join us to think more about what community means, plus explore the importance of different cultures within our community! All children are welcome to attend this free event. Call, email, or drop-by the Museum to sign-up. 
Our first Super Saturday event of 2024, Peoples of Utah Scan & Share, is on Saturday, January 27! The museum will be open from 10am-3pm.
Join us at a Scan-and-Share event with the Utah Historical Society to preserve and share your history! Bring your photos, letters, recipes, and more items (old and new!) that represent you, your family, and your community in Utah.
Utah Historical Society staff will ask you questions about your items (date, people, location); create digital copies of these items, and return the originals to you. These digital copies will become a part of the Peoples of Utah Revisited online collection. Enter our monthly coloring contest! Bring your submission to the Museum, mail it (50 West Main, Hyrum, UT 84319), or email it museum@hyrumcity.com.

Art work from Lincoln Elementary School’s Reflections Art Contest is now on display in the glass cases just outside the Museum. Come see how these creative students interpreted the theme “I am hopeful because….” through art, music, dance, & film. Now on display through January 2024!
Elite Hall is open for free public walking Monday through Friday mornings from 7-10am. Children must be supervised at all times and please no food or drink (other than water).
