Join us during Hyrum City’s Star-Spangled Celebration for Grand Old Flag @ Elite Hall!
This year, we have extended Grand Old Flag, our display of almost 70 historic flags, to accommodate more visitors over more days! Grand Old Flag will be on display at Elite Hall (98 West Main in Hyrum) on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Monday July 2, 3, 4, & 6 from 10am-3pm, with extended hours on Sunday, July 5, from 5-7pm.
Don’t forget to bring your Passport to Summer Fun to earn a special stamp! We will also have a patriotic art activity and a special scavenger hunt for kids.
Hyrum City Museum events are free and open to all!Our annual Paint Night is on Thursday, July 15, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and will be a fun afternoon of accessible art-making! Drop-in anytime during the event to for some fun art projects and activities from the Hyrum City Museum, Hyrum Library, and Jump the Moon! Don’t forget to include your name, age, and address to collect your prize.“The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution” traveling exhibition is now on display at the Hyrum City Museum through July 30! Step back in time and discover the powerful role of written communication in shaping America’s pursuit of Life, Liberty, & Happiness. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, this exhibition, in partnership with Utah Arts and Museums and America 250 Utah, illuminates the stories, documents, and individuals who sparked a revolution with their words.July is Utah Museum Month!! Celebrate Utah’s nearly 300 museums throughout the month of July. Visit at least 5 Utah museums in July and you can request a special Utah Museum Month collectible sticker!
