Hot Wheels in Hyrum, our annual car show fundraiser, returns for its lucky 13th year on Saturday, June 6, 10:00am – 3:00pm at the Hyrum City Square!
Kick the summer off by enjoying some classic vehicles, eating delicious food, listening to music, and winning great prizes! Hot Wheels in Hyrum is also the kick-off event for our annual Passport to Summer Fun children’s programming! This is the museum’s big annual fundraiser, which raises funds to support exhibit expansion, educational programming, and our ability to serve as a community resource. Join us for this exciting community event where vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and conditions are celebrated!
In addition to our wonderful sponsors and food vendors, we are thrilled to welcome the Cache Valley Kids Market and their kid-preneurs to this year’s event.
Pre-registration for cars is available in-person at the museum (T, W, TH 10am-4pm) or at this link: https://hyrumcitymuseum.org/registration/. Pre-registration closes at 4pm on Thursday, June 4. Pre-registration guarantees you a swag bag and earliest access to park your vehicle on the day of the show. Day-of registration begins at 9am on Saturday, June 6. Registration is $20/vehicle. Attendance is free if not registering a vehicle.
We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday, June 6!Passport to Summer Fun is our summer-long children’s program full of fantastic in-person events and plenty of activities to learn and play on your own! You can pick up your passport during Hot Wheels in Hyrum on Saturday, June 6, or at the museum during our regular open hours starting on Tuesday, June 9.Our next in-person event for our Passport to Summer Fun educational programming is The Semi-Q and You! Join us on Thursday, June 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Hyrum City Museum (50 West Main) to learn all about the America’s Semiquincentennial! Drop-in anytime during the event to for some fun art projects and activities focusing on the founding of the United States! Don’t forget to bring your Passport to earn a special stamp in your Passport To Summer Fun! Passports will be available to pick-up during the event if you haven’t received one yet.Our June coloring contest is here! Send your entry to 50 West Main Street, Hyrum, UT 84319, museum@hyrumcity.gov, or bring it in person during our open hours (Tuesday – Thursday from 10AM to 4PM). Coloring pages are also available to pick up at the Museum. Don’t forget to include your name, age, and address to collect your prize!“The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution” traveling exhibition is now on display at the Hyrum City Museum through July 30! Step back in time and discover the powerful role of written communication in shaping America’s pursuit of Life, Liberty, & Happiness. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, this exhibition, in partnership with Utah Arts and Museums and America 250 Utah, illuminates the stories, documents, and individuals who sparked a revolution with their words.
