We are partnering with Sema Hadithi African American Heritage & Culture Foundation for our March Super Saturday! On Saturday, March 25, between 10am-3pm, the museum is honored to host a “Scan-n-Go” event to capture both historic and contemporary stories of Black Utahns. Vivid Pix donated a computer and scanner to Sema Hadithi to collect individual personal histories of Black Utahns to more fully capture the stories of Black Americans in Utah. All Utahns of African descent are invited to the museum to share their stories, along with any photographs and/or documents they would like to bring.
